LSP1GXXX Application Field and Working Principle

The LSP1GXXX series of lighting engines are a range of energy-efficient, high fidelity lighting products developed by Lumigo. They combine the latest in Optoelectronic technologies including CREE LED, Independent™ lens technology and Lumigo’s proprietary lighting algorithms. This series of light engines is designed to push the boundaries of LED lighting solutions, enabling options not available previously.

The basis for Lumigo’s LSP1GXXX series lies in the patented Independent™ lens technology. This technology combines an array of precisely-shaped lenslets with individual LEDs and opto-electronic chips. Each lenslet refracts the emitted light from its corresponding LED, directing it accurately in the desired direction. The entire array of lenslets and LEDs creates a highly precise beam of light without optical losses or glare, while consuming significantly less energy than other LED lens solutions.

In addition to the Independent™ lens technology, Lumigo has used its proprietary lighting algorithms which optimize the performance and efficiency of the light source. The algorithms ensure that the desired target illumination is reached, with minimum energy consumption and output variation.

The LSP1GXXX engines are remarkably energy efficient, pushing between 130-150 lumens per watt. This level of efficiency ensures that buildings and spaces lit by the engine will be able to save on energy costs and reduce environmental impact. In addition, the engine is designed to last for up to 50,000 hours.
