The LT1256CN#PBF is an innovative member of the Linear - Amplifiers - Video Amps and Modules family. This module is ideal for many applications like Video Amps and Modules, Video Amplification and Signal Conditioning, Amplification and Signal Sensing.The module has an 8-lead (small outline, thin package) with thin-body combining high power efficiency and high frequency operation that provides high gain accuracy of the device and its operation up to 1GHz frequency. The device is suitable for designing high voltage power supplies and signal conditioning applications. Its high-precision output allows the modules to provide superior signal regulation over various voltages.The module is capable of providing up to 2A current with a precision adjustable decreasing current output up to 2A. It features a 0 to 2.8V/2.2A input/output range, and an input/output voltage headroom of 0 to 5V. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, and supports an input/output Impedance of 24V/16A.The main working principle of the LT1256CN#PBF module is based on its two output stages. The first stage is a programmed current output stage that converts an input voltage (Vin) to a current output (Iout). In this stage, the module has to be programmed with a suitable set of values (Vin, Iout, and Impedance). The second stage is used as a voltage amplifier that amplifies and linearizes the output signal to the required voltage level.The module also includes a power supply protection circuitry which prevents the device from overloading or instability when it is operating with higher input/output voltages.
