The LT1963ET#PBF is a linear, supervisory, high-accuracy series voltage regulator from Linear Technology Corporation, a leading global supplier of high-performance linear semiconductor and analog ICs. This device is intended to provide the voltage reference, voltage sequencing and sequencing control, and power to a wide range of modern applications including those in the fields of industrial, communication, automotive and consumer electronics.

The LT1963ET#PBF voltage regulator utilizes a voltage reference, voltage comparator and current-source/current-sink output circuitry. This combination provides engineers with flexibility, as well as accurate voltage regulation, over a wide input voltage, output voltage and load conditions.

The LT1963ET#PBF is designed to regulate the output voltage over a wide input voltage range from Minimum VIN to Maximum VOUT and a minimum output voltage from -0.3V to 16.5V. It also offers good accuracy over wide temperature ranges, with 0.4% maximum peak to peak difference at 25°C, and 0.7% at -40°C and 85°C. Its load regulation is also good, with 0.2% maintained.

The LT1963ET#PBF functions as either a shunt regulator or a series regulator, depending on the application.
