LT3023EDD Application Field and Working Principle

LT3023EDD is a high performance, low-power, dual-channel low-dropout linear regulator from the Linear Tech family. It is designed to provide up to 800 mA of adjustable current, and each channel is capable of sinking current as low as 1 uA. It is also well-suited for a variety of application fields, including automotive, mobile, industrial, and medical. It operates from a wide 4.5V to 16V input range, and it is capable of providing up to 4 times more current than typical discrete LDOs in many cases.

The LT3023EDD features an integrated shutdown switch and a precision enable pin that can be used to put the regulator in low-current standby mode. It also has an adjustable under-voltage lockout that protects the output voltage as the input voltage approaches the minimum input voltage.
