LT6604IUFF-5#PBF is an instrumentation operational amplifier. It is designed to provide precision performance with optimized transient response and minimum settling time while operating from a single +5V power supply. Its performance is further enhanced by using a proprietary high level-shifting output stage and a wide supply range of +3V to +5V. The rail-to-rail input stage helps achieving wide dynamic range of applications like buffering, A/D and D/A converters.

The LT6604IUFF-5#PBF has a wide range of application possibilities. This device is suitable for applications like buffering, low frequency transimpedance amplifiers, transducer linearization and closed loop gain control. Its higher output current and rail-to-rail ability makes it ideal in current-to-voltage and voltage-to-current conversion as it can drive a maximum load of ±250mA with slew rates of up to ±600V/µs. It also has a very low input bias current of 2nA that makes it suitable for low impedance input sources. It has an excellent slew rate and the low noise makes it suitable for noise-sensitive applications. It is also widely used in instrumentation and power converters.

The working principle of the LT6604IUFF-5#PBF can be explained by considering an ideal op-amp circuit, wherein all the electrical parameters like gain, output voltage, input resistance, output resistance, etc. are assumed to be ideal. The amplifier is connected to a negative feedback circuit, where the output voltage is fed-back to the input. The input is a voltage source and the output is a current source.
