It is a PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) under the Voltage Regulators category and the DC DC Switching Regulators sub-division. This regulator is suitable for applications such as computing desktops or laptops, where extremely high conversion efficiency and low-noise output is required.This device operates at a switching frequency of up to 4 MHz, allowing the use of tiny external inductors and capacitors. The internal synchronous MOSFETs are designed to be very low on-resistance, allowing higher current ratings and better efficiency.
