Working Principle

The working principle of the LTC1647-2CS8#TRPBF controller is based on a modified PI (proportional-integral) controller. The PI controller adjusts the output voltage according to the input voltage, and the feedback received from the output voltages and currents. The main goal of the PI controller is to maintain the output voltages within the required range, while also providing protection against input voltage and current spikes.At start-up, the LTC1647-2CS8#TRPBF controller monitors the input voltage and output voltages and current. If the input voltage is within the acceptable limits, the device outputs a charging current to the output voltage and current loops, in order to charge the load.
