Working Principle
The LTC1663-8CMS8#TRPBF is a voltage output DAC that takes a digital input multiplexed from the MSB to the LSB (Shifted in the order MSB, B2, ..., LSB) and converts it to a corresponding analog voltage output. It operates from a single 1.8V or dual ±1.8V supplies and has an integrated CMOS ESD protection to the interface pins. The analog output has an excellent linearity as it is referenced to an accurate Voltage Reference Output Pin. It has a power dissipation of 2.5mW, no load current of 4µA and Output Noise Floor of -90dB. The Always-On Shutdown Mode allows the device to be powered down while keeping the digital input data valid.
The LTC1663-8CMS8#TRPBF is suitable for performance-driven applications demanding fast settling time, low distortion and low noise.
