The LTC2463IDD#PBF is an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that is part of the Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) family. It is a low-power, high-accuracy Delta Sigma Converter ideal for applications in automotive, battery-powered, and RF-sensitive systems. It is designed to convert up to 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input signals with an input-referred noise of just 2.5 μV RMS, over 28,000:1 dynamic range, and a 142dB signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR). The device consists of a 24-bit Delta Sigma ADC, a differential input buffer, and an onboard reference. It is optimized for single-supply operation and operates over a wide input common mode range of 0.3V to VDD. The inputs are protected up to ±28V so it can be used as a guard input to detect short-circuits or out of range signals. The LTC2463IDD#PBF also offers low power consumption of just 500 μA/channel at a 1.8V supply. This allows it to be used in battery operated or RF-sensitive systems where low power and high accuracy are required. It also features a low power shut-down mode that cuts power consumption down to just 1 μA.The device features an I2C or SPI interface that is capable of transmitting data at up to 5 Mbps. Data can be read at 400 kHz for fast updates and the data can be output in either single-ended or differential formats.The LTC2463IDD#PBF also has a wide range of temperature range options from -40°C to 125°C and has a wide range of packages available that is suitable for any application requirement.
