LTC2633CTS8-LI8#TRPBF is a family of 8-channel, digitally programable 16-bit current out DACs offering true, high speed, and high accuracy performance in an 8-lead, 2 mm x 2 mm DFN package. Housed in an 8-lead package, this device is well-suited for cost-sensitive, precision applications. Each channel has an independent reference input, and it can operate with a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply. Each IOUT channel has a nominal full-scale range of approximately 30 mA.The LTC2633 family is ideal for low voltage and power limited systems, including automotive, consumer, industrial control, and test equipment. This device offers a fast 10 μs settling time, enabling it to simultaneously update all eight channels with throughput rates up to 200 kSPS. Additionally, this device is available with an ultra-fast 500 ns settling time. This makes the LTC2633 family ideal for demanding data acquisition, industrial, and medical applications where fast settling time and 6 ppm (0.05%) is required.The LTC2633CTS8-LI8#TRPBF is a fixed output, 16-bit, 8-channel digital-to-analog (DAC) converter that offers a fast settling time of 10 μs and 500 ns, respectively. This converter is exclusively designed for voltage measurement and control applications. It includes an integrated DAC per channel, plus integrated linearization and offset trim. With 1-ppm/°C DAC temperature coefficient and 10 μs settling time, the device is ideal for applications such as motor control, instrumentation and precision data acquisition systems.The working principle of the LTC2633CTS8-LI8#TRPBF is based upon low power CMOS circuit design with a separate digital voltage-controlled current source for each DAC channel. Each current source is able to provide a double ended analog current output, making this device ideal for providing multiple programmable current outputs. The internal control logic and DACs are fed through an SPI compatible serial data port. The pulse width modulation (PWM) clocked by the logic circuitry controls the current output level. The main advantage of this product is its ability to convert the digital data into high-quality analog current in a very short time. Its fast settling time of 10 μs and 500 ns make it suitable for use in timing-sensitive applications in which fast data acquisition is critical. Additionally, the 6 ppm (0.05%) accuracy provides maximum precision control. All channels can be programmed independently, enabling more flexibility and control.The LTC2633CTS8-LI8#TRPBF is a stable and reliable digital to analog converter which can offer good results in data conversion and is suitable for a wide range of applications requiring accurate and fast current outputs.
