LTC3108IGN-1#TRPBF Application Field and Working Principle

The versatile LTC3108IGN-1#TRPBF has become a widely used integrated power management circuit in automotive, industrial, medical and consumer applications. It is a buck switching regulator, with a programmable constant-current generator, that is capable of providing low-voltage (up to 16V) and low-current (<5A) step-down DC/DC power supply solutions.

The LTC3108IGN-1#TRPBF can accept input voltage ranges from 6.0 V to 16 V, providing an adjustable output voltage range from 0.8 V to 5V. It offers a peak efficiency of 80%, up to 10-ms transient response, and low quiescent current operation of 200 uA in power-saving mode.
