The LTC®3864HMSE#PBF is part of Linear Technology\'s family of PMIC – Voltage Regulators – DC DC Switching Controllers. The LTC3864 is a current mode synchronous step-down controller featuring two Multi-Phase Controllers, which reduce input ripple, decrease PCB area, reduce output capacitor size and lower EMI. This device operates with input voltages of 4.8V to 28V and maintains 2.5V to 12V output voltages at currents up to 30A.The LTC3864HMSE#PBF features an input voltage feed-forward design to provide tracking of the output voltage to the voltage divider on the input with an accuracy of ±0.75%. This feature reduces the output capacitor size by eliminating the need for a large error amplifier.
