The LTC4252-2CMS8#TRPBF Hot Swap Controller is ideal for system hot swap or module insertion and removal in rugged, industrial and automotive applications. The integrated circuit features a temperature-independent slew rate control, protection back-off, external sense resistor, programmable inrush current limit, open load detection and two-level OVLO. The LTC4252-2CMS8#TRPBF Hot Swap Controller is designed on Low Power CMOS process and offers a high efficiency Hot Swap power save mode which reduces the load’s loadline droop and delivers more usable power during short-duration load transients.

The LTC4252-2CMS8#TRPBF Hot Swap Controller is specifically designed to monitor the current used by a module in an overloaded (reverse current) condition, and to reduce its power draw by partially or completely removing the module from the system.
