The LTC4419CMSE#PBF is a dual High-Side output supply, ideal diode controller from Linear Technology Corporation. It is a power management IC (PMIC), capable of operating at up to 40V, and providing up to 2A of current. The LTC4419CMSE#PBF includes an ideal diode, a current regulator and high-side switches for control, high-side protection and output short-circuit protection. It is also an OR controller, with an OR-in logic that can detect a low and turn on a high in one of its two lines.
The LTC4419CMSE#PBF has many applications where ideal diode, high-side switching and OR control are desired. In automotive applications, the device is often used as an auxiliary power supply for 12V and 24V systems, providing power from a 9V to 40V input source. It can also be used for power management in aviation, industrial and energy applications. In these applications, the device is capable of providing a continuous current up to 2A.
The device\'s integrated ideal diode replaces an external diode in the power supply, saving both PCB space and cost. This helps maximize power output while reducing power consumption and ensuring low noise and high efficiency.
