Among the various types of temperature sensors, the LTPCTGA25MBSITX01 is a widely used, high precision, low cost thermocouple temperature probe.
Application field
The LTPCTGA25MBSITX01 is designed for temperatures ranging from -260°C to 1800°C and is mainly used in aluminum extrusion, bar and rod heating, plastic extrusion, steel reheating, and other industrial processes. It is also used for the temperature monitoring of food and beverages, medical systems, and other sectors. In addition, since the probe does not require a reference junction, it is easier to use and maintain than other thermocouples.
Working principle
The thermal conductivity of the thermocouple temperature probe is based on the conversion principle of the Seebeck effect. The thermocouple consists of two different metal wires, usually made from iron-constantan or copper-constantan. The two ends of the thermocouple are connected to separate voltage measuring devices and then connected to a thermocouple instrument. When the two ends of the thermocouple are at different temperatures, a small voltage (thermoelectric voltage) is generated between the two ends which is proportional to the temperature difference. This thermoelectric voltage can be converted into a temperature signal through the thermocouple instrument.
The accuracy of the LTPCTGA25MBSITX01 is ±0.5°C and has a response time of 0.1 seconds. With a stainless steel housing, small size, easy installation and wide temperature range, the thermocouple temperature probe offers accurate and reliable temperature monitoring for a variety of applications.
