The LV8827LF-TLM-H is a three-phase motor driver controller that is designed to bridge the gap between microcontrollers and low-cost three-phase brushed motors. It features a wide range of features including a variable PWM frequency up to 1 MHz, a programmable current limit, high LRA resistance and a built-in buzzer. The LV8827LF-TLM-H is a pulse-width-modulated (PWM) motor driver controller that is designed to provide a high efficiency, low-cost motor control solution. The controller is capable of driving up to three-phase brush motors with a current limit of up to 6A and a voltage range of up to 30V per phase. It features a wide range of features, such as a highly efficient Instantaneous Current Control (ICC) that allows for minimal losses across the motor and a programmable current limit that can be adjusted to the load in the motor. Additionally, the controller features a highly advanced automatic LRA (LRA/RMS) resistance sensing system, which allows for a higher efficiency at lower currents and speeds, as well as a built-in buzzer for audible feedback.
The LV8827LF-TLM-H motor driver comes with two primary modes of operation: torque control and current control. In the torque control mode, the motor will be instructed by the microcontroller through a dual pulse (duty cycle) signal to be interpreted as the target speed of the motor. This signal then tells the driver to set the target speed to the desired speed.
