The LX8383-33CP is a high-performance low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator from TI\'s Power Management IC (PMIC) product family. This device is designed to provide a cost-efficient solution for portable electronics applications that require a high output current, low power dissipation and high accuracy. The LX8383-33CP is capable of delivering up to 33 A of continuous current from a single package and is able to operate over a wide input voltage range from 2.7 V to 20 V and provide a regulated output voltage from 1.2 V to 10 V with a typical output accuracy of ±1%.

The LX8383-33CP has a variety of features that make it the ideal choice for voltage regulation and power management applications in the consumer and industrial sectors. The operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C makes the device suitable for a range of operating conditions, while a low profile (max 1.2 mm height) package allows the device to be used in space constrained/miniature designs. The device also features a low quiescent current (1 µA typ.)and fast transient response (80% load step recovery in less than 200 us).
