LY1F-DC12 application field and working principle
LY1F-DC12 is a Power Relay, and it has a maximum rated current of over 2 Amps. It is a small, hermetically sealed relay with a wide use range applicable to liquid level, temperature, pressure and speed contrl, flow measurement and electrical power distribution.The basic principle of the LY1F-DC12 Power Relay is based on Faraday\'s law. This law states that when a coil of wire is placed in a changing magnetic field, an electromotive force (EMF) is induced in the coil. This EMF is qualitatively equal to the rate of change of the magnetic flux through the coil, and is opposite in direction to the applied field. When wires are wound in an electromagnet coil, the magnetic field can be removed with current-induced in the coil. This is what the LY1F-DC12 Power Relay does, by controlling a switch which processes and switches an input voltage into an output voltage.The application of the LY1F-DC12 Power Relay can be divided into two main fields. The first is for industrial automation, controlling and monitoring machines, process lines, and other industrial activities. The LY1F-DC12 Power Relay can be used to switch electrical signals from one device to another according to a pre-set operation.The second application field of the LY1F-DC12 Power Relay is for automotive and transportation applications. When automobiles are moving, the position of the engine, the shifting of gears, and other aspects of the engine must be under the control of a special type of relay to ensure safe operation of the vehicle. The LY1F-DC12 Power Relay is designed to withstand the harsh vibration and heat from automobiles, and can be used to control the vehicle’s speed, acceleration, deceleration, and turning and stopping signals.Besides these two primary application fields, the LY1F-DC12 Power Relay can also be used in light and electrical power distribution, electric heating, safety system, AC/DC machinery, communications, resistive loads, and other industries.The working principle of the LY1F-DC12 Power Relay is quite simple. When current flows through its coil, it produces an incredibly strong magnetic field. This magnetic field can activate the switch in the relay, which then controls the voltage and current conducted through the relay.
