LYT1602D-TL

LYT1602D-TL is a nomal type constant current led buck driver IC which is the first one in the family of the LYT1602D. This IC has a big range of application fields and a simple working principle.

Application fields

The LYT1602D-TL is widely used in CC (constant current) LED driver products such as TV, computer and commissioning etc. This IC offers a good capability of driving power supply, charging power, energy harvesting and lighting etc. It also offers convenience for the measurement and protection of the parameter of the backlight control circuit of the production such as LCD, LED and PDP.

Working principle

The working principle of the LYT1602D-TL LED driver IC is simple. Firstly, the input voltage is rectified directly and led to the internal power Stage. A high-speed mosfet will convert the input voltage to high order power which is as power supply for the internal switching circuit. Next, the internal high-gain switching circuit controls the direct current output voltage. Finally, the stabilized output voltage is led to its load.

This IC has the advantage once chip quiescent current is lower than 4uA and the input voltage is between 6V and 60V. On the other hand, it can adjust the output voltage which is between 3V and 25V, and the output current is 5A. Besides, the LYT1602D-TL can load up to 600KHz devices with a minimal external circuitry so that it should be installed with a LC filter.
