The M25PE40-VMW6G is a non-volatile flash memory that can store digital information in the form of bits for a long time even without power. Working Principle

The M25PE40-VMW6G is a four-wire, Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) device. It has dual 24-bit addressing modes which allow up to 16MB of address space within a single device. The device supports read and write operations at up to 20MHz for both random and dual output modes. It has write protection of each quarter sector to prevent accidental or malicious write/erase operations.

The M25PE40-VMW6G has advanced security features such as ECR tag and authentication (white-box) encryption, which provide protection against tampering and unauthorized access. It also features write protection and sleep mode commands to prevent data loss in case of power failure.
