The device also provides a wide array of features including an endurance of one hundred thousand cycles and an advanced protection system.There are multiple applications for the M27C4001-90C6 such as in automotive systems; communications and network control systems; embedded control systems; and in medical systems, among others. In communications and network control systems, M27C4001-90C6 can be used to store secure data, configuration data, and access control lists. In embedded control systems, the device can be used to store and process program code or data.The working principle behind the M27C4001-90C6 is based on its basic structure, which contains two storage regions - the program memory and the EEPROM memory.
