Embedded - System on Chip (SoC) refers to an integrated circuit that contains all the essential parts of a computing system in a single chip. The M2S010-1VFG400I is general purpose System on Chip (SoC) designed to provide high speed and low power usage. This system is designed using a 32 Bit RISC processor with a 16 Kbyte Level two memory. It has many integrated peripherals like 8x - Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), 8x - Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART), 4x - I2C, 2x - Timers and its on-chip Flash memory is 32 KByte.Design
The core of this SoC is the ARM Cortex-M0+ processor with a maximum speed of up to 48MHz. It also includes a serial input/output controller, processor local interconnect, DMA Controller, Analog Comparators, 10-bit ADC, Watchdog Timer, 6-channel Timer and Real-time Clock. The feature of this SoC is its low pin count which is only 64 pins. This SoC also has an external memory interface which supports up to 16MB of external RAM, ROM, EEPROM and Nor Flash.Applications
