Tantalum Capacitors

The M39003/01-7039H is a type of capacitors which is made from Tantalum, a silvery-gray metal, and invented by German chemist Dr. A Henning. Its application field and working principle is quite similar to other types of capacitors, and is widely used in many electronics.

Application field

Tantalum capacitors are mainly used in high-end field, such as mobile phones, space exploration and microelectronics. It can also be used as energy saving components in military tools and equipments, medical equipments, and audio equipments. Working principle

Tantalum capacitors are electrolytic capacitors, where a tantalum oxide layer is used as the dielectric layer. The process of forming this oxide layer is called anodization.
