The M48T08-100PC1 is a real-time clock used for keeping up-to-date time and date information in a computer or an embedded system. The register is an eight-bit wide addressable counter that counts in seconds from 00:00:00 (Midnight) to 11:59:59 (one second before Midnight) while passing through 24 hours.
