The device is suitable for industrial control applications and other extended temperature range applications. This device allow system to quick access and handle information such of control parameters and other data while dissipate very less power.The M95080-WMN6P is a device with a wide temperature operating range from –40 to 125 ℃, which allows system designers to select a device for the application from a wide selection of serial EEPROM memories. In addition, it has a program erase capability, allowing for a time-saving and cost-effective solution for applications. It typically comes in 8-pin dual inline packages, which provides a very small package size and easy to be use physically. This device also incorporate an LVCMOS compatible write-protected pin (WP). When it is been asserted, the device is in write-protected mode, and all write transactions are locked out.M95080-WMN6P parts come in industry-standard I2C and SPI interfaces, supporting an I2C facility up to 400kHz, and a SPI facility up to 1MHz. Through the I2C and SPI interfaces, it allows designer to control the device via a three-wire serial bus. It supports a burst write/read command. This command allows for simultaneous writing or reading of consecutive pages or bytes, adding convenience for data throughput, which shorten system development time.The M95080-WMN6P also have means to protect data from accidental erasure or alteration. It use a write protection command which allows the device to becomes redundant for all write operations. Through the use of a dedicated 64-bit EEPROM-style address, the user can ensure that its data against accidental alteration. Data can also be protected from erasure through the command sequence, which activitors a software-controlled write protection that locks all write transactions.In conclusion, the M95080-WMN6P is a ideal memory solution for industrial control applications and other extended temperature range applications. Its low-cost, low-power, and wide temperature range back up make it an excellent choice for a variety of devices.
