Working Principle
The MADLN11NE operates on a balanced voltage range of 0-5V, with an optimal voltage range of 1-4 V. The board uses a differential amplifier to control the motor’s speed. A pulse width modulated signal is outputted from the differential amplifier and is fed back to the board as a pulse width modulated voltage of 0-5V. This modulated voltage is then fed through the FETs (Field Effect Transistors) which control the motor’s speed.
The MADLN11NE also utilizes an advanced control algorithm for optimal speed and current control. This algorithm is based on a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller and iteratively adjusts the motor’s speed, position, and current to maximize performance of the motor. The controller also ensures that the current-voltage ratio (I/V) remains constant and optimized for maximum performance.
The MADLN11NE is designed with safety and reliability in mind and is equipped with a fault detection mechanism for detecting and responding to any signals of abnormal behavior. Adjustable over-current and over-temperature protection helps protect the board and the device from damage due to excessive motor current or temperature.
