Application Field of MASMCJ30CA

Working Principle of MASMCJ30CA

The MASMCJ30CA has two distinct conduction modes. First, it has a low capacitance mode, which provides low capacitance to minimize signal distortion and EMI generation. Second, it has a fast response mode, which provides lightning-fast response times and super low recovery times to provide protection to sensitive electronic components. The fast response time minimizes damages to the protected components.

The working of the MASMCJ30CA is based on the principle of junction avalanche breakdown. The diode works on a principle of avalanche breakdown, whereby a very small increase in voltage applied across the junction can cause a large current to flow due to the multiplication of charge carriers.
