The MAX205CPG is a multi-function, high linearity, differential line receiver that provides high performance in both a cost-effective and low-power module. The integrated circuit utilizes the latest CMOS process technology to ensure that it has a high-speed, low-power data transfer rate up to 20 Mbits/s with a low power consumption of 90uW. It has on-chip polarity adjustment feature and adjustable gain wide bandwidth for improved signal integrity. The device works by using a differential line receiver with built-in low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) and differential line driver. The differential line receiver amplifies the input differential signal and the gain is adjustable by gain control pin (GCP). The amplified signal is then sent to the differential line driver that is used to reconfigure the signal and transmit it to the target device. The driver is powered by low-power CMOS process and is capable of providing fast switching with low power consumption.
