The MAX20733EPL+T is a DC to DC switching regulator with integrated PWM controller. Focused on controlling the voltage in applications such as smartphones, tablets, and other portable devices, the MAX20733EPL+T provides two step-down DC/DCs and one buck regulator, enabling the user to cost-effectively manage power and ensure smooth operation. Utilizing this device, the user is able to accurately set thebuck regulator output to any voltage between 0.5V and 6V typically with ±5% accuracy, while either the S1 or S2 buck regulator delivers from 0.5V to 1.8V.
Power conversion is provided by an adaptive, synchronous step-down switching regulator with an output voltage of 0.6V to 1V. The MCP1034-2T makes implementing efficient, high current voltage conversion easier than ever before. It accepts input voltages from 0.8V to 5.5V, and has a wide range of integrated features such as programmable soft-start, PFM/PWM mode selection, output short-circuit protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and protection from over-voltage, under-voltage and over-temperature events.
The PFM/PWM control on the MAX20733EPL+T is also programmable, allowing the user to adjust the frequency and duty cycle as needed. The device supports four programmable current limit levels, allowing the output current to be safely managed and adjusted. This makes the device suitable for powering a wide variety of load types.
The MAX20733EPL+T also features a high power-on reset threshold, allowing the device to easily detect an over-voltage condition.
