MAX207IDBR is a member of the MAX20x transceiver family from Maxim Integrated. It is an integrated transceiver circuitry housed in a single package to disclose a wide range of applications. This device combines a high-speed transceiver and a clock generator to make the physical interface between two buses possible. The top-level features of this transceiver make it well-suited for the communications between these two buses: a controller-bus and a command-bus. The clock generator consists of an output external crystal oscillator, an input Clock/Data mode select pin, and two frequency-select pins. The crystal oscillator used helps to determine the frequency of the command-bus.

One of the advantages of the MAX207IDBR over its predecessors is the Controlled Slew Rate. This feature helps to reduce EMI interference by limiting the frequency of the clock outputs to required frequencies. The maximum speed of the clock outputs is 160 MHz.
