MAX208EENG is a kind of interface driver and transmitter. MAX208EENG\'s application field lies in LCD and CRT display interface, AD converter interface control, UART interface control and accompanying control interface. It provides two unified modes, open-collector mode and totem-pole mode, which makes it be able to drive loads perfectly.

MAX208EENG has a power voltage range between 4.5V and 5.5V and its operating temperature range is between -40℃ and 85℃. In the open-collector mode, its output low voltage is rated at 0.4V. Its fall and rise time are both at 8nsmax. Its output high voltage is rated at Vcc minus 0.4V. In the totem-pole mode, its output high voltage is rated at Vcc minus 0.2V and its output low is rated at 0.2V.

MAX208EENG\'s output feature gives with its bi-directional TTL/CMOS logic compatibility. It is designed to improve the current to Vcc and reliability under fault conditions, over-voltage protection pin, and ESD clamp-diode structures for USB-Typ.C application. It supports hot-plugging and can sure that the line voltage be maintained at intelligible level during connection and disconnection.
