MAX209CWG is a differential line receiver designed to provide positive noise immunity and reliable data transmission. It can be used to connect two digital devices working at TTL or enabled/inhibited TTL logic. It is intended to be used in many applications, including TTL logic interfacing, line receivers and transceivers, bus interfaces, and data protocols.The MAX209CWG is a low power, open collector differential line receiver that has a low noise level of 4pA. It has an active low enable input, which allows the input pins to have a differential input impedance of 50 kOhms, resulting in excellent noise rejection. The MAX209CWG also has an active low input enable that eliminates false triggering due to noise on the enable pin. The MAX209CWG is also designed to be compatible with all EIA/TIA-232 and related serial communication standards.MAX209CWG has an active low enable input. When enabled, the input voltage range is between +0.8V and +2.4V. The MAX209CWG is designed so that the data is output at TTL levels, thus eliminating the need for external line drivers and the related power consumption. The MAX209CWG is also designed to operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures.The MAX209CWG has three pins. Pin 1 is the enable input. It has an open collector output and is active low. When the enable pin is low, the MAX209CWG is enabled and is ready to receive data. Pin 2 is the differential input.
