The MAX221ECUE+ ("MAX221ECUE+") is an interface-level device that works as a versatile driver, receiver and transceiver to connect driver circuits and loads to the wide range of device high voltage outputs used in Microcontroller and FPGA based systems. It is designed to provide logic level signal isolation, protection and flexibility for industrial, medical and consumer applications.

The MAX221ECUE+ drivers/receivers can be used to both drive and receive digital signals. The devices are designed to provide enhanced signal integrity, immunity from noise, and provide a cost-effective solution for implementing electrical isolation interfaces in many types of applications. By isolating digital logic signals, the MAX221ECUE+ is able to extend the range of the signal and protect both sides of the interface.
