RF transmitters are used to transmit wireless signals from source to destinations. Being able to transmit signals without the need for wires, RF transmitters have become widely used in a number of applications. One such type of RF transmitter is the MAX2365ETM+.
The MAX2365ETM+ is an ultra low power 200MHz to 1GHz FSK/OOK/PVT transmitter capable of driving an external 50ohm antenna. It is designed to operate from -30 to +45 degrees Celsius and consumes just 30mW at +3.3V power supply in TX mode. The transmitter can be used for applications such as wireless mice, remote controls, wireless speakers, security systems, remote alarms and so on.
The working principle of the MAX2365ETM+ is based on frequency shift keying (FSK) technology. The FSK technology works by shifting the frequency of a signal in response to a digital input signal. For example, when a high voltage is applied to the input (1) on the MAX2365ETM+, the output signal will be shifted to a higher frequency. Similarly, when a low voltage is applied to the input (0), the output signal will be shifted to a lower frequency.
