The MAX250EPD+ chip is a small four-channel clock/data recovery IC appropriate for various different network interfaces and systems. This high-performance chip integrates a programmable data slicer, clock/data separator, delay-locked loop and PLL devices for improved data recovery accuracy and signal equalization. The performance and feature set of the MAX250EPD+ device make it the perfect solution for a number of applications, including networking applications such as Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Serial RapidIO and many other interface devices.

MAX250EPD+ Application Field

The MAX250EPD+ chip has been designed for use in a variety of different telecommunications and data transmission applications, such as Ethernet, SAN, WAN, and many other interface devices. It is a powerful processor capable of supporting up to four independent channels, each with its own clock/data recovery pair. This enables scalable performance and improved data recovery accuracy. The integrated PLL device also helps to reduce jitter and optimize the performance of the recovered data stream. MAX250EPD+ Working Principle
