The MAX2839ASEWO+T is a low-power direct-conversion transceiver IC designed for operation in the 315/433/868/915 MHz ISM bands. The integrated synthesizer provides a wide tunable frequency range from 294–927 MHz. The low power feature supports both simple and advanced system architectures while providing excellent transmission performance. The MAX2839ASEWO+T uses direct-conversion technique to convert a received RF signal into a digital signal, eliminating the need for a dedicated RF mixer and other components. The chip contains a highly integrated transceiver, power amplifier, low-noise amplifier, and frequency synthesizer. The low-noise amplifier features a close-in blocking of -55 dBc and a dynamic range of 35 dB. The power amplifier (PA) also has low power consumption, delivering up to +31dBm at the antenna port. The frequency synthesizer features an internal low phase-noise VCO and a dual phase-locked loop (PLL) system. The onboard, high-accuracy oscillator ensures extremely low levels of phase noise and spurious emissions.
