MAX2981GCB/V+ is a versatile trans-impedance amplifier for fiber optic receiver applications. With its unique architecture, it provides excellent statistical performance and temperature stability over a 0.5 to 2.5V dynamic range. This multi-purpose product offers the highest threshold accuracy, low-noise, and ultra-low jitter performance for a wide variety of applications, including 10/100/1000-Mb/s Ethernet, InfiniBand, Fibre Channel, and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) link implementations.
The MAX2981GCB/V+ is a low-power, fully-differential trans-impedance amplifier with an integrated temperature-stable, adjustable precision threshold voltage. Unlike other trans-impedance amplifiers, the MAX2981GCB/V+ incorporates an active current-mode sensing that maximizes the trans-impedance accuracy, significantly improves the noise and jitter performance, and makes the circuit insensitive to components variance.
