MAX3233ECPP+G36 Application Field and Working Principle

The MAX3233ECPP+G36 driver/receiver is a RS-232 line driver and receiver designed to transmit and receive data up to 230.4 Kbps. It is ideal for applications requiring a compact, low power, high speed RS-232 interface. The MAX3233ECPP+G36 has a low power supply (3.0V to 4.2V) and standby mode with 1µA power savings. The device includes a 10-bit preamplifier plus transmit and receive amplifier/buffer with noise filtering capability that can interface up to fifteen feet of twisted pair cable.
