The MAX3283EAUT+T is an integrated interface solution for RS-485/RS-422 communication networks. It is a transceiver that combines a driver, a receiver, and a bidirectional data port. The driver provides an RS-485 interface and the receiver provides an RS-422 interface, both with built-in guard-mode protection circuitry to protect the data from ESD (electrostatic discharge) damage. The transceiver also includes a 56-byte FIFO which enables it to buffer data for fast, reliable communication.
The MAX3283EAUT+T is designed for use in applications such as industrial automation, process control, medical instrumentation, embedded systems and more.
