The MAX3485ECSA+ is an interface driver, receiver and transceiver analog front end that performs galvanic isolation, signal level shifting and ESD protection for RS-485 communication applications. The device is based on the industry-standard Maxim integrated circuit and offers a range of features to ensure reliable data transmission, such as ESD protection, data rates up to 250kbps, and a robust transmission line interface. The device operates on a single +3.3V or +5V supply, with both logic and analog components consuming less than 740mW total.
