The MAX40088AUT+T is a differential current sensing amplifier that uses a Difference Amplifier with a Third-Degree Multiply Integral (DTI) topology, which performs the necessary gain basing with temperature compensation. The differential inputs are connected to two pins labeled I+, I-, with a common ground (usually connected to the output of the sensing resistor – VOUT). The reference voltage (VREF) must be set between these two pins. Once set the amplifier automatically adjusts its gain based on the reference voltage.
