MAX4074ADESA is a single, low-noise operational amplifier (op amp) designed for use in instrumentation, measurement and data acquisition systems, demanding high-precision applications for both single-supply and dual-supply operation. The device is designed for use in precision active filter, sensor interfacing, and other high-precision circuits requiring a low-noise, low input bias current, low offset, and low offset drift. It offers high performance in a very small package.This precision op amp operates on dual supplies between +2.25V and +36V, or on single supplies between +3V and +18V. It is available in convenient 4-pin SOT-23 and 8-pin MSOP packages and is specified for operation over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.The MAX4074ADESA operates on an extremely low supply current of 400µA when both supplies are connected. When operating on a single supply, the supply current is reduced to 260µA. The output voltage swings within 5mV of the positive and negative supply rails. The MAX4074ADESA also has an extended common-mode input voltage range. It can handle single-supply operation with its common-mode input voltage going down to 0.02V below the negative supply. With its low input bias current of 500pA and low voltage noise density of 4.8nV/√Hz, the device provides very low distortion in high-performance filter applications.The MAX4074ADESA has a low input offset voltage of 0.0025mV and a low input offset drift of 0.5µV/°C. It also has a typical gain bandwidth of 10MHz, settling time of 10µs to 0.1% and input voltage noise of 8nV/√Hz.
