The MAX4372FESA+ op amp is designed for precision applications, with low input noise, fast settling, and laser-trimmed gain accuracy. The op amp is a low-voltage, single-supply precision instrumentation amplifier with programmable gains of 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 and 10V/V, adjustable ac and dc common-mode rejection and improved linear output current sourcing and sinking capability, making it well-suited for industrial systems and portable equipment applications. Its low noise make it an ideal choice for applications in the consumer, industrial, computer, and medical industries.
This instrumentation amplifier provides precision gain accuracy with 0.5% guaranteed gain accuracy (max) when set externally. Due to its low input bias current, the offset voltage is extremely low, at 1mV (max). Furthermore, the input noise is low due to careful layout, making it ideal for high resolution applications such as medical instrumentation. Additionally, the combination of a dynamically stable gain setting scheme and externally programmable gain setting capability allows for gain to be adjusted with minimal performance penalty over temperature variation and time.
The MAX4372FESA+ is designed to work on barely any power source with a single 3.2 to 24V supply and only 3.2mA of quiescent current. Because of its single-supply operation, it can be used in many designs with low DC circuits.
