The MAX44260ASA+ is a compact, high-precision linear amplifier for use in instrumentation, operational amplifier (op amp), buffer and other applications where accuracy and low power consumption are essential. The device features a low offset voltage of 5mV, low input noise voltage of 50uV, low distortion, and high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 113dB. It is also capable of providing a high-precision output signal with a maximum output current of 50mA.
The MAX44260ASA+ provides a flexible configuration for instrumentation applications with low power consumption, wide bandwidth and high CMRR. Its low offset voltage and low input noise voltage provide excellent performance in high-precision, low-noise and low-distortion instrumentation. The output current of 50mA enables a variety of applications including digital-to-analog converters (DACs), digital potentiometers, and pulse-width modulators (PWMs) as well as active filters.
The device operates on a single-supply voltage, capable of operating from a 3V to 5.5V supply with a typical supply current of 2mA. It is also capable of operating in the range of 1.65V to 5.5V and the device has low power-down current of 10µA. The device has an output short-circuit protection which allows up to 50mA of overload current, preventing the amplifier from suffering an overload damage.
The MAX44260ASA+ also features an open loop input, which reduces the risk of damage and increases the signal-to-noise ratio. This device also features internal protection circuits which protect the amplifier from overcurrent and overvoltage. The thermal protection circuit monitors the internal junction temperature and turns off the amplifier if the temperature exceeds the safe operating temperature.
The MAX44260ASA+ offers a wide dynamic range of applications in instrumentation, op amp, buffer and other applications. In instrumentation, it can drive load resistances up to very high values with a controlled bandwidth. It can also be used for precise signal generation, precision signal changes and active filter applications. It can also be used in precision differential amplifiers providing a wide dynamic range and high accuracy. The device provides excellent thermal stability, low power consumption and wide input-to-output isolation.
In addition, the device features a temperature range of -30°C to +125°C which makes it suitable for industrial, medical and space applications. It is also built using advanced processing technologies to ensure highly efficient and low power consumption performance. The MAX44260ASA+ is available in a small SOT-23-5 package which is ideal for portable and space constrained applications.
