MAX4554ESE is a low-cost, low-power, high-speed, single-pole/double-throw analog switch designed to extend the power and signal transfer capabilities of an existing interface, making it an ideal component for a variety of applications. Since its introduction, the switch has been successfully employed in many applications ranging from low speed signal conditioning to high speed video switching. The application range of MAX4554ESE extends from basic switching and control tasks such as logic signal control and analog signal multiplexing, to much higher frequency applications such as video switching, high speed audio, clock and data multiplexing, and phase switching. It is also frequently used in motor control, multiplexed sensor-application interface, and 5V/3V power and ground switching. The MAX4554ESE features a low RON resistance of only 9Ω typical, making it ideal for low-loss /high current applications. It also has an extended temperature range of –50°C to + 75°C. The device can be used in both digital and analog applications and is available in a wide range of packages to meet different requirements.
