The MAX473EPA is a precision voltage comparator manufactured by Maxim Integrated. It is part of the instrumentation, OP amplifier and buffer amplifier categories of linear amplifiers. It is a high-speed, rail-to-rail input/output comparator, capable of operating in single- or split-supply operation from +2.7V to +36V or ±2.25V to ±18V. The MAX473EPA has two seperate and independent comparators, A and B. The A-comparator has an input common-mode voltage range of -0.3V to Vdd + 0.3V. The B-comparator has an input common-mode voltage range of 0.2V to Vdd+0.3V. Both inputs also have an output range of -0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. The output of either comparator can be open-drain, with TTL or CMOS compatible interface.
