Working Principle

The MAX4782EGE+T consists of an array of N-channel MOSFETs integrated in the same package. These switching devices are controlled by logic signals which can be directly connected to the lines of a processor, an analog-to-digital converter, a microcontroller, an ASIC or any other digital device without additional circuitry. The analog switch can be configured as Single-Ended, Differencial or Complementary outputs for higher resolution, peak performance and less distortion.

The devices are controlled by a logic input which is connected to the digital processor and can either be low voltage or high voltage logic level. Depending on the logic signal, the respective switch closes or opens, thereby connecting or disconnecting the analog signal line. The switches are also protected against overvoltage, damage and other operational irregularities.
