PMIC - Voltage Regulators - Special Purpose

The MAX5005ACUB+T is a high-efficiency low noise step-down DC-DC converter with a wide 2.3V to 5.5V input voltage range. It provides ultralow output voltage noise of 0.1mVp-p and two independent outputs with current capacity up to 1.5A. The device integrates a MOSFET, a high-side current shunt circuit and an integrated loop compensation, allowing a 0.8V to 5.5V adjustable output voltage and fast transient response. The MAX5005ACUB+T eliminates up to twelve external components without degrading system performance.

Application Field and Working Principle

The MAX5005ACUB+T is designed for automotive applications, such as body sensors, antenna multipliers, cameras, and displays, where low noise and tight regulation are required. Additionally, because of the integrated MOSFET, it is suitable for a wide range of current and voltage loads.
