<div><h3>Evaluation Boards - DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS</h3><p>The MAX5021EVKIT evaluation board is a complete board solution for power conversion and control using the latest in non-isolated DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS technology. This board is uniquely designed to allow for easy integration into the design engineer’s development process, allowing them to have rapid prototype design, accelerated custom design, and increased evaluation capability. </p><h4>Application Field</h4><p>The MAX5021EVKIT can be used for a variety of applications including AC/DC power conversion, DC/DC power conversion, and non-isolated DC/DC converters. The board can be used to produce a variety of regulated output voltages and currents suitable for many consumer, industrial, and automotive applications. The board includes integrated circuits and other components suitable for power conversion up to 1W to 25A and up to 15V to 72V. </p><h4>Working Principle</h4><p>The MAX5021EVKIT works by integrating a number of DC/DC and AC/DC components to produce a regulated, isolated, non-isolated DC/DC converter. The board can be used to create a variety of voltage and current outputs with a wide range of input voltages. The board includes two input voltage regulators, two output voltage regulators, a buck converter, a flyback transformer, and a number of other components required to convert the input voltage to the desired regulated output voltages and currents. </p><p>The board takes an input voltage, either AC or DC, and uses it to power the integrated circuit and other components inside the board. The voltage is first regulated by the primary input voltage regulator, and then passed to the secondary input voltage regulator for further regulation. This regulated input voltage is then used to power the buck converter, which reduces the input voltage to the desired output voltage. This output voltage is then regulated using the primary and secondary output voltage regulators, and then passed through the flyback transformer to isolate the output from the input.
