The 8-bit counter output is connected to an 8-bit latch, which outputs control signals to the 8-way analog switch to select output values of the resistor ladder network.

The analog switch output is then connected to the output port, the output resistance is adjusted by the temperature compensation network, thus achieving temperature compensation and keeping the output voltage stable.The "low" frequency of the PWM waveform is adjustable. The wider the frequency range is, the better the response to the A/D conversion accuracy. For example, setting the "low" frequency to 2V/us, the ADC resolution can be improved to up to 0.5V, which is much higher than the 0.17V or 0.125V of other devices.

The MAX521ACPP is a 8-bit high-speed wide-range PWM DAC. Its 8-bit decoding input can directly enter the output corresponding to the PWM waveform level, which improves the DAC response speed and reduces the power consumption. Moreover, its voltage resolution is up to 1mV, and the temperature compensation network can keep the output voltage fine.
